We’re growing rapidly on a global scale riding the wave of privacy-led marketing, data compliance awareness and regulations. On top of growing double digits Usercentrics is profitable and expanding its team in our Lisbon, Munich and Prague offices.

To fuel this growth and build our innovation capability in the mid-term, Usercentrics has the ambition to build and boost its incubation team. This is a highly agile team responsible for MVP-ing and validating multiple new propositions (product ideas) per year in parallel. The team will consist of approximately 6-7 contributors with product, marketing and development capabilities. Your job is to build, lead and manage this team towards success with a highly entrepreneurial/ bootstrap mindset. 

The goal is that the incubation team will eventually be at the core of product and feature expansion, M&A decisions and new products in our portfolio. 
Your Tasks
Team Leadership
  • Build and manage the incubation team at Usercentrics and make sure it stays connected to the broader UC organization 
  • Determine priorities, mentor and guide the energy of the team members and keep the vibe hands-on, curious and agile
  • Manage your own budget and resources

Deliver new validated propositions
  • Fill the pipeline with great new (B2B) proposition ideas, prioritize them based on potential and easiness to validate
  • Deliver at least four validated propositions per year ranging from MVPs, mock-ups, partner-products or any form that helps validating a proposition
  • Create awareness interest and action on your new propositions leveraging marketing expertise and -budget in your team
  • Validation goes beyond freemium, we are looking for customers showing willingness to pay
  • Keep an eye on the balance between speed and quality of validation 
  • Work with the Usercentrics product team in hand-over of successful propositions

Business cases
  • Prioritize your actions based on analysis of the proposition potential and easiness to validate 
  • Create a mini business case for each successfully validated proposition
  • Present the business case and convince stakeholders of further investment to go from MVP to full fledge product development
You Bring
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on energetic curiosity: you love to create something from nothing
  • Proven experience as an Incubation leader/(Senior) Product Manager/Tech Founder or in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment, together with a strong product sense
  • Expertise in managing an agile team, keeping them focused and energized
  • Business development experience, not afraid of creating pragmatic business cases
  • You can fall in love with an idea yet also say goodbye to it if it does not work
  • Great in prioritizing and making quick decisions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions, yet continue to listen to gut feel as well
  • Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing scale-up environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action are required
