We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Platform Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes,  to join our platform engineering team. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure that supports our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform is scalable, secure, and efficient, enabling us to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure based on various Kubernetes platforms (Azure AKS, GCP GKE, on-prem).

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure the platform meets the needs of our applications and services.

• Mentor Platform engineering team members around Kubernetes system administration.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and ensure consistent delivery of code.

• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of the platform.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in managing and administering Kubernetes clusters in both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments. You are adept at designing, deploying, and scaling Kubernetes solutions to meet diverse application needs.

• A strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure, including experience with hybrid environments. You have the ability to seamlessly integrate and manage Kubernetes clusters across these environments.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices, including network policies, RBAC, secret management, and vulnerability scanning, ensuring robust and secure deployments.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, understand their needs, and deliver platform solutions that meet their requirements.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in Kubernetes environments quickly and efficiently.

• A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Kubernetes ecosystem, and a willingness to continuously improve and adapt to new challenges.
