SHAPE THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY WITH USERCENTRICS
Usercentrics is a global leader in data privacy and privacy-led marketing solutions. We believe there is no need for a trade-off between growth and privacy compliance. Our vision is to unlock the potential of data privacy to empower a thriving digital ecosystem. We work with companies to create a healthy balance between data-driven business and privacy-led marketing for every size of enterprise. Our customers build trust with their users through improved transparency and control to drastically improve marketing and monetization, while achieving full privacy compliance.
The DEI journey at UC began in 2023 with a small group of passionate individuals who took the initiative to raise awareness, and build a more inclusive culture. We started by creating a DEI Committee that decided to aggregate the DEI work in a DEI calendar. The idea was that every month the company would spotlight a different community, and facilitate the kind of experiences that lead to a better company culture. Now, as our efforts have grown, we’re excited to take the next step by bringing in an expert who can further drive our mission and help us make an even greater impact.
As a DEI Expert, you will lead and implement strategies that foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture across the organization. This role will work closely with leadership, HR, and the DEI Committee. The goal will be to lead cultural initiatives to promote DEI, deliver education and training on key topics, and ensure that our value strategies are embedded in every aspect of our company’s operations.
You Bring
- Experience: 2+ years experience in DEI roles or related HR/People functions with a focus on diversity initiatives, inclusion programs, and equity-driven policies.
- Passion: Strong passion for fostering inclusive environments and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that every voice is heard, valued, and empowered.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of DEI principles, cultural competence, and current developments in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bottom-up Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, own and execute DEI programs, working cross-functionally within a matrixed organization.
- Data-Driven: Ability to analyze diversity metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.
Plus points for:
- Familiarity with local and international diversity legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) or similar community-building initiatives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Usercentrics we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
