SHAPE THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY WITH USERCENTRICS
Usercentrics is a global leader in data privacy and privacy-led marketing solutions. We believe there is no need for a trade-off between growth and privacy compliance. Our vision is to unlock the potential of data privacy to empower a thriving digital ecosystem. We work with companies to create a healthy balance between data-driven business and privacy-led marketing for every size of enterprise. Our customers build trust with their users through improved transparency and control to drastically improve marketing and monetization, while achieving full privacy compliance.
We are looking for a Senior Designer (m / f / d) with a passion for creativity and a keen eye for detail to help evolve our brand design guidelines, acting as the visual brand guardian, to ensure the consistency of our design output within Marketing. You will be embedded in the new Brand & Communications team, reporting to the VP of Communications, but will also collaborate closely with the Product Design Manager to ensure a consistent design system across the business.
The role will involve a combination of hands-on design work, higher-level strategic decision-making, and career development responsibilities.
Expertise in digital design UX / UI and digital experiences is essential for this role.
Initially this role will have no direct reports, so the role will be focused on leading the design system & brand guidelines, but over time this will likely change into a more hands-on people management role.
Please submit your portfolio!
You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in design, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including branding, web design, ad creation, UX, UI, and digital design solutions.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
- Extensive experience managing and maintaining a design system.
- Excellent understanding of branding, typography, color theory, layout principles, and digital design best practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills as well as strong organizational and project management abilities.
Nice to have:
- Experience in data privacy or related fields.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web design technologies.
- Certification in project management or design-related courses.
- Management/mentoring experience or ambition.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Usercentrics we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
