As our new Senior Legal Counsel, you have a solid understanding of both the Legal and the Tech sector. You are a considerate, bright, forward thinking, entrepreneurial candidate, with a passion for software and “legal tech” products. You are a person with strong communication, hands-on mentality and strong analytical skills.
You Bring
- University degree of law in the European Union, Economics Law or comparable education with a strong connection to Technology Operations, Legal Tech, Product as well as Data Privacy and IT Security
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a comparable globally operating legal operations role and in the area of Legal Tech, SaaS, information security and data privacy
- Advanced In-house counsel experience required
- Solid understanding of complex SaaS and digital products, tracking/scanning services, consent management and on-prem technology solutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of global commercial, privacy and data security laws and regulations, especially of laws, legislations and authority decisions in the European Union and worldwide
- Proven track record and strong public profile with an outgoing and social personality being comfortable with public speaking engagements, conferences, workshops
- Fluent in written and spoken English (our company language). Portuguese, Danish, German and other language skills are a huge advantage
- Willingness to travel to our other hubs in Europe and/or to public speaking engagements
