SHAPE THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY WITH USERCENTRICS
Usercentrics is a global leader in the field of consent management platforms (CMP). We follow our company vision to build a world where user privacy enables a thriving digital ecosystem. Our mission is to provide privacy solutions that empower organizations to embrace data privacy while building trust with their users through freedom of choice. With our product, businesses can collect, manage and document user consents on websites and apps, and achieve full compliance in accordance with global privacy regulations while facilitating high consent rates and building trust with their customers.
Are you a master storyteller, strategic thinker, and insight-seeker who loves turning complex ideas into compelling narratives that spark industry conversations?
We’re looking for a Strategic Content & Thought Leadership Lead. This is a rare opportunity to own and drive the voice of a category-creating brand from the inside out, as we establish Privacy-Led Marketing as the next frontier in B2B SaaS.
We’re building the category of Privacy-Led Marketing. Just like HubSpot did with Inbound and Drift did with Conversational Marketing, we’re shaping the next chapter of data-driven brand building. This role is central to making that vision real—through powerful content, bold storytelling, and a steady drumbeat of thought leadership.
If you're excited by big ideas, deep strategy, and the chance to build something truly new from the ground up—we want to meet you.
Your Tasks
The UC Magazine (Our Flagship Thought Leadership Platform):
- Act as Editor-in-Chief: set the editorial agenda, manage the content calendar, and ensure each issue is rich in insight, beautifully crafted, and truly resonant with our audience.
- Contribute as a writer and curator: connect dots across trends, research, interviews, and data to produce original, bold, and opinionated content.
- Build and direct a small ecosystem of external contributors, SMEs, freelancers and internal content writers to bring each edition to life.
Press & Media Research Support:
- Lead research briefings that inform press releases, op-eds, and media commentary.
- Spot high-impact newsjacking and media response opportunities using tools like Brandwatch.
- Collaborate closely with our PR and Comms team to keep our brand smart, relevant, and always in the conversation.
Executive Visibility & Ghostwriting:
- Work with our C-suite and senior leaders to shape their external presence, suggest timely topics, and ghostwrite or co-write high-impact content (think LinkedIn posts, contributed articles, keynote scripts).
- Use AI tools and managed workflows to scale our executive comms program without losing that authentic voice.
You Bring
- A natural connector of ideas, trends, and data—with the storytelling chops to back it up.
- Experience in editorial leadership, content strategy, or B2B journalism (bonus if it’s in SaaS, tech, or marketing).
- Strong research and interview skills—you know how to ask the right questions and synthesize complex info fast.
- Ability to manage both creative direction and execution—writing when needed, editing always, and delegating or automating where smart.
- A deep curiosity about marketing, privacy, the future of data, and how brands earn trust.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Usercentrics we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
