We are looking for an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic Accounts Receivable and Revenue team, working alongside colleagues in the accounting and reporting team.

As the Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be overseeing the end-to-end revenue accounting process for a fast-growing SaaS business with high transaction volume and relatively small contract amounts. This role is responsible for accrued income, deferred revenue, revenue recognition under IFRS and local GAAP, and month-end close activities, while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and automate data workflows.

Your Tasks
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close, ensuring accurate recognition in accordance with IFRS 15.
  • Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue, accrued income, and subscription billing balances in NetSuite.
  • Analyze and process high-volume SaaS transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy of revenue data.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve revenue discrepancies, billing issues, and complex contract scenarios.
  • Support revenue reporting for management, audits, and financial statements under IFRS.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes, reduce manual effort, and automate data extraction and reconciliation workflows.
  • Maintain internal controls around revenue recognition and assist with compliance and audit requirements.
  • Mentor and train junior AR/Revenue team members as the team grows.
You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/ACCA is a plus.
  • 4–7 years of revenue accounting experience, preferably in SaaS companies.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles, including deferred revenue, accrued income, and high-volume transactions.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems; experience with automation tools or reporting scripts preferred.
  • Self-starter and independent, able to manage complex tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement automation in accounting workflows.
