SHAPE THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY WITH USERCENTRICS
Usercentrics is a global leader in data privacy and privacy-led marketing solutions. We believe there is no need for a trade-off between growth and privacy compliance. Our vision is to unlock the potential of data privacy to empower a thriving digital ecosystem. We work with companies to create a healthy balance between data-driven business and privacy-led marketing for every size of enterprise. We’re looking for a Team Lead, Email Marketing & Automation to define and execute the strategic vision for lifecycle marketing, CRM programs, and intelligent automation across the lead journey. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team and act as the central architect of our marketing automation ecosystem across Salesforce and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement by Salesforce).
Your mission will be to connect lead lifecycle programs to company growth objectives, ensure operational excellence, and enable scalable, compliant marketing systems. This includes driving the adoption of agentic AI technologies to streamline workflows, personalize interactions at scale, and automate decision-making.
You combine strategic thinking, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise, acting as a key touchpoint between Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Growth, Sales, and Salesforce & Data teams to align strategy, technology, and messaging that shape the future of our go-to-market operations.
You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing automation, with a proven track record of driving customer engagement and retention.
- 3+ years in a leadership or team lead role, managing people and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Product Marketing, Growth, RevOps, Sales).
- Advanced admin proficiency in Pardot (Salesforce Account Engagement), including hands-on experience in automation rules, lead scoring, segmentation, Engagement Studio, and overall platform management.
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM, including campaign tracking, reporting, sync logic, lead lifecycle management, and CRM-Marketing Automation alignment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven marketing and A/B testing methodologies (e.g. Power BI)
- Experience designing and optimizing data flows and integrations between CRM and third-party tools (e.g. webinar platforms, enrichment tools, analytics, etc.).
- Hands-on expertise in segmentation, lead scoring, A/B testing, compliance (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM, consent management, etc.) and enrichment tools (e.g. Similarweb, DropContact, Clay, Zerobounce, etc.)
- Awareness of the agentic AI landscape and knowledge for integrating automation into workflows and decision-making using tools like n8n, Zapier, or similar
Attributes- Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Analytical mindset – ability to interpret data, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable aligning priorities, goals, and resources across hierarchy and teams.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Usercentrics we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
