Senior SEO Marketing Manager (m / f / d)

The Senior SEO Manager will own and manage all Usercentrics and Cookiebot SEO efforts end-to-end, including planning, set-up, testing, execution, reporting, and optimization.This role is responsible for, working closely with an external agency, carrying out the international SEO strategy and implementation for Usercentrics creating exceptional SEO results to meet our growth targets. You will partner closely with other Acquisition andConversion team members as well as other sub departments of the Marketing team. You will engage with internal stakeholders such as Product and Sales teams to gain insights into the quality of the leads and make adjustments to improve performance.
Your Tasks
The SEO bit
  • Increase organic visibility across key markets resulting in traffic growth
  • Implement technical SEO audits and make suggestions to improve performance
  • Perform keyword research and make suggestions based on research
  • Perform competitive analysis in order to make suggestions
  • Identify and execute on-page optimizations
  • Lead off-site optimisation strategy and execution
  • Align and support with the content strategy for all markets
  • Own and develop SEO tests and strategies to increase traffic/ rankings/ visibility/conversions
  • Manage and safeguard the SEO quality control on new developments and new content going on the site, as well as running audits to make suggestions on current content
  • Keep up-to-date with latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes

You Bring
  • Experience in SEO for 10+ years; technical, on-page, content and off-page (including SEO methodologies and tools, algorithms and ranking strategy)
  • Great understanding of how Google and other search engines rank pages
  • Experience with web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Matomo) and reporting
  • Understanding and/or experience of using Tag Management system or customised tracking systems
  • Experience in auditing sites and identify technical issues
  • Proficient Excel / Google Sheet Skills
  • Knowledge of building web pages with basic HTML, CSS and CMS systems
  • Copywriting experience
  • Proven PPC knowledge and experience and understanding of how the two connect
  • Fluent English language skills
