Director Content Marketing (m / f / d)

As our Director Content Marketing (m / f /d ), you will build and lead an ambitious team to meet the communication & content marketing needs of Usercentrics. 

In this role you will oversee the creation and delivery of persuasive and timely content to external stakeholders that drives qualified traffic to our websites and supports our overall go to market efforts, positioning Usercentrics as thought leaders in our field.
Your Tasks
  • Oversee the effective delivery of long and short format content, email cascades and newsletters, marketing and sales content, SEO content and PR for all our products and in all our key languages
  • Lead the planning, execution, and correction cycles of your team, from annual planning and strategy to dailies
  • Define metrics, establish frameworks and optimize processes to ensure the right measurement at the right time, applying corrective actions. Build processes to measure and support the creation, reviewing/editing and improvement of content
  • Proactively improve ways of working within your team as well as across teams and stakeholders to achieve the goals of the Content team. Contribute to overall excellence through ideas, strategies, analytics and creativity
  • Oversee and optimize our Comms technology stack, agencies (PR, Translations, etc) and freelancers
  • Be a thought leader across Content and the other areas of the Marketing team (Growth, Product Marketing, Events, etc.)
  • Convincingly lead your team of Content & Communications professionals, offering development opportunities and guidance
You Bring
  • University level degree in Communications/PR or similar field
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in a communications/PR/copywriter role, of which minimum 5 years in a managerial role/similar position in a dynamic and international transactional digital business 
  • Previous experience in B2B/SaaS business
  • Excellent writing and editing skills as the Comms lead will have the final word on content
  • Solid SEO knowledge and demonstrable success creating sizeable volume of content with high quality
  • Ideally a native English (or German) speaker as these are the key languages of our company
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of PR
  • Excellent, demonstrable team leadership skills 
  • Proven experience selecting and managing agencies and partners (Content, PR, Translations, etc) to deliver on the team’s objectives
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Solid organizational skills and time management
